On Sunday 4th June a Treasure Hunt was held in Fochabers and an enthusiastic group set off to find clues and see who got back first to the final check point. It was a wet day and we all got wet but there was a happy feeling amongst the competitors.
After the Treasure Hunt the prize giving took place for those who had entered the Art & Poetry Competition.
Funds were raised by having a ‘Pick the Number’ game and below are photographs showing Kay presenting a prize to a lucky lad, Lynn behind the game board and Robbie, resplendent in his uniform keeping order. The bottom photograph shows Robbie piping us all from the Square up to Fochabers Museum where the Treasure Hunt started.
We are grateful to the Scouts who acted as marshalls during the Treasure Hunt. This photo shows them with their leaders as they gathered together at the end of the Walk (in the rain).
The funds raised on the day were divided and given to Milne’s Primary and Mosstodloch Primary Schools.
